Sign up and subscribe (2 min)
Go to home.jijenga.com, create your account, and activate your
KES 399/month subscription.
Request your M-Pesa statement (1 min)
Dial *334# → My Account → M-Pesa Statement → Last month.
Safaricom emails the PDF to your registered email address within minutes.
Upload the PDF (30 sec)
In Jijenga, tap MORE → Import. Tap BROWSE, select the PDF, then tap BEGIN SCAN. If the PDF is password-protected, tap NEED PIN? and enter the PIN from the SMS Safaricom sent you.
Open the Operating Statement
Tap MORE → INTELLIGENCE → Operating Stmt. You'll see your total income, total expenses, and net position for the month — broken down by category in a waterfall chart.
Find your biggest spending category
Look at the category breakdown. What's at the top? For most people, at least one number is a surprise. That's your first insight.
What to do next
- Correct any miscategorised transactions — tap the transaction, tap its category badge, and select the right one
- Upload older statements to build 3–6 months of history
- Open Velocity Lab (MORE → INTELLIGENCE → Velocity Lab) to see which weeks you spend fastest
- Open The Explorer (MORE → INTELLIGENCE → The Explorer) to see where money flows across categories and merchants
- Check Fuliza Shield if you use Fuliza (Safaricom's overdraft service) — it shows your exact cost over time
