Install on iPhone
Add Jijenga to your iPhone home screen using Safari.
WARNING
On iPhone, you must use Safari — not Chrome. Apple only allows PWA installation through Safari on iOS. Chrome on iPhone cannot install apps to the home screen.
Open Safari and go to home.jijenga.com
This must be Safari. If you normally use Chrome on your iPhone, open Safari specifically for this step.
Sign in to your account
Log in before installing. This ensures the app opens directly to your dashboard when you launch from the home screen.
Tap the Share button
The Share button is the box with an upward arrow, in the centre of Safari's bottom toolbar.
Scroll down and tap 'Add to Home Screen'
In the share sheet, scroll down until you see Add to Home Screen. Tap it.
Tap 'Add' to confirm
Leave the name as Jijenga and tap Add in the top right corner. The icon will appear on your home screen immediately.
Open Jijenga from your home screen
Tap the Jijenga icon. It opens in a standalone window — not inside Safari.
iOS notes
Jijenga works on iPhone, but Android is the primary platform. A few differences to know:
- Push notifications require iOS 16.4 or later
- Background sync is more limited than on Android
- If the app behaves unexpectedly, try opening
home.jijenga.comin Safari directly first, then reinstall from the home screen
