How to Export Reports
Export your Monthly Brief as a PDF, or download your transaction history as a CSV.
TL;DR
Jijenga has two export options: the Monthly Brief (a formatted PDF summary of a month) and the Ledger CSV (raw transaction data for a filtered view).
Export the Monthly Brief (PDF)
You can only export a brief that has been sealed โ the month must be closed first. Once sealed, the export button appears on the brief card.
Go to MORE โ INTELLIGENCE โ Reports
Tap MORE in the bottom navigation bar, then tap Reports under the INTELLIGENCE section.
Find the sealed month
A sealed month shows the SEALED status badge. Only sealed briefs can be exported. If the month isn't sealed yet, close the accounts first โ see the Monthly Brief guide for how.
Tap EXPORT on the brief card
Tap the export button on the sealed brief. Jijenga downloads the executive summary as a formatted PDF โ print-ready, with your income, expenses, net flow, and Nia's key insights.
Export transaction data (CSV)
The Ledger export gives you raw transaction data as a CSV file โ useful for tax purposes, reimbursement claims, or analysis in a spreadsheet.
Open the Ledger
Tap LEDGER in the bottom navigation bar.
Apply filters to scope your export
Use the type filters (EXPENSE, INCOME, INVESTMENT, TRANSFER) and the filter sheet (date range, amount range, entity) to narrow the data to exactly what you need. The CSV export respects your active filters.
Tap the export button
Tap the export icon to download the current filtered view as a CSV file.
Troubleshooting
Monthly Brief stuck on GENERATING? Wait up to 60 seconds โ generation time depends on how many transactions are in that month. If it fails, try generating again.
CSV contains more data than expected? Your filters may not be set. Clear all filters and reapply the specific ones you need before exporting.
